The clothes we choose to wear say a lot about us and how we feel that day. Believe it or not, how you dress may be a reflection of your personality. You may find it scary but some believe that clothes do reveal your character. Dress up elegantly and you walk with confidence. Dress shabbily and you want to avoid meeting face to face with people you know. This may not be you but if that's the case then you may be in the minority. Dressing up and keeping up with the latest fashion trends is applicable to most of us. Some trends stay longer than others depending on their popularity and acceptance by the public, but eventually all fashion trends run out of time and give way to new fashions. From time to time designers will add, subtract or make minor modifications to fashions that have become to be classic.   Remember the long wedding gowns that have been around for ages. Today's gowns appear to be changing as the long bulky gown is gradually become less bulky. Of course it is the bride to be that has to decide how much cloth they want to shed on their gowns. Wedding gowns were supposed to be always white in the past. Today the colors of wedding gowns are a matter of choice. Adding color to wedding gowns appears to be the trend today. Of course you can still wear that wedding dress in that has been in your family for decades. Some things never go out of fashion and are always acceptable. Picking a wedding gown • Style of the dress should be carefully considered as it will set the charisma for the complete wedding. • Body shape should be considered when selecting a wedding gown. • While white is normally the preferred choice, ivory color is an alternative for some. Color accents on white are also an alternative  to help match a wedding theme. The look that has been around for decades for women and men. The ladies long dresses have been around for decades. The most visible change in dresses of course is the open necklines. Shoulders are now visible on a majority of women's dresses. Straps on dresses are disappearing for those who wish to keep up with modern fashion trends of today. Open shoulders originally was commonly worn as beach wear casual dresses. Evening formal wear caught on to the style and today just about every type of women's dresses are available in open shoulders variety. Strapless! Open shoulders and strapless dresses are popular and available in not only formal evening wear party dresses but also in casual wear to wear at home or casually around town. As open shoulder became popular fashion designers were quick to come out with backless dresses and they are very much in style today especially for party wear. Open back dresses for those who dare to wear them. Originally such dresses came with a cape or jacket to cover the shoulders.
